The Oracle HCM Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the successful implementation and management of Oracle Human Capital Management (HCM) Cloud solutions. This role involves leading project teams, coordinating with stakeholders, managing project timelines, budgets, and resources, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions that meet client requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Management:
- Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed to ensure successful project completion.
- Manage project budgets and ensure cost-effective delivery of services.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and motivate project teams, including Oracle HCM consultants, developers, and other stakeholders.
- Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Conduct regular team meetings to review project status, address issues, and ensure alignment with project goals.
Stakeholder Communication:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders, ensuring clear and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Present project updates, status reports, and deliverables to clients and executive management.
- Manage client expectations and address any concerns or issues promptly.
Risk Management:
- Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and deliverables.
- Monitor and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
Quality Assurance:
- Ensure that all project deliverables meet quality standards and client requirements.
- Conduct regular reviews and quality checks to ensure adherence to project plans and objectives.
Change Management:
- Develop and implement change management plans to support the successful adoption of Oracle HCM solutions.
- Provide training and support to end-users to ensure smooth transition and effective utilization of the new system.
Continuous Improvement:
- Stay current with Oracle HCM updates, best practices, and industry trends.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance project delivery.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in managing Oracle HCM implementation projects.
- Strong understanding of Oracle HCM modules such as Core HR, Payroll, Talent Management, Learning, and Workforce Management.
- Proven track record of successful project management, including planning, execution, and delivery of complex projects.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Oracle HCM certification is preferred.
